Longview Suites
Longview Suites is a boutique hotel located on Magadi Road in Karen area. The ultra-modern hotel has 32 rooms. Longview overlooks the Nairobi National Park and has very personalized service. It works well for business and holiday purposes. The accommodation facilities at Longview are all en-suite. The property has two kinds of rooms:
Luxury suite – They are also known as Jupiter suites at Longview. They overlook the nearby forest and the fountain in the property. Guests who use the luxury suites get the privilege of a lounge and a study that can double up as an office. Also inclusive in the room is a flat-screen television, a minibar, electronic safe, hair-dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, a direct-dial phone and cable Internet.
Self-catering suites– They are also known as Pluto suites. Guests in these suites will enjoy the property’s cascading fountain, swimming pool and tropical gardens as a view. The room shares all the benefits of the Jupiter suites plus a private kitchen (with an electric hotplate, microwave oven and wash basin) and rain showers in the bathrooms.

Swara Safari Hotel
Along the same Magadi road nestled in a very quiet area is Swara Safari Hotel. It is directly opposite the southern entrance to the Nairobi National Park. The area is filled with many tropical birds that chirp melodiously in the morning. Bird watchers will have a great time staying at this place. The property has 10 cottages and 32 en suite rooms. Rolf’s Place
Along Magadi road as you approach the renowned Maasai Lodge is a cliff mansion built like a medieval fortress. This is Rolf’s place. There is a huge gorge between the main road and the property. The arrival at Rolf’s place is an adventure. You park on one side of the gorge and take a high hanging footbridge to the property on the other side. Not to worry; it is very safe. Because it is not far from the Nairobi National Park, it is not uncommon to see buffaloes, warthogs and several wild herbivores roaming around the area.
Rolf’s Place has 7 double rooms all differently furnished and all en-suite. The property has a large terrace that overlooks the beautiful gorge. The terrace can hold up to 50 diners. The place serves great international cuisine by chef and owner of the place, Mr. Rolf Shmid. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool and sauna that overlooks the Nairobi National Park with the Nairobi City skyline in the background.
