A family African safari can be lots of fun, and is perfectly safe. Aside from spending quality time with your loved ones under a wide blue African sky, a family safari in Africa offers invaluable experiences including memorable wildlife sightings, unique cultural experiences, and the opportunity to learn more about nature.

However, although an African Safari is a wonderful opportunity to teach your children all about nature, children should be at least 6 years old to truly leave an impression.

Children under 6 years often find the long game drives boring after a while and could spoil the experience for everyone else in the vehicle. What’s more the heat and the dusty game drives may make your baby feel very uncomfortable. Therefore, if you are traveling with young children it’s best to opt for a tailor-made African family safari.

Why Consider Tailor-made African Family Safaris?

For the Privacy- Tailoring your own African family safari gives you the advantage of requesting a private vehicle for your family. No strangers, no compromises.

For the Flexibility– Tailor-made family safaris can include everything! From horseback riding amidst giraffes and relaxing picnics under acacia trees to leisurely game drives; you get to craft your experience.

For the Service- Every tailor-made African safari includes the service of an expert safari guide from beginning to end. The guide will advise you on camps and locations that truly engage families.

Tailor-made African Family safaris give a glimpse of a side of the world that your kids only read about in school books.  This can help spark their interest and truly leave a lasting impression.
