The more than six lines of jewelry displayed here include Africa Adorned by Angela Fisher, whose book, Africa Adorned is the most famous on African body ornaments, and hand-painted Kazuri Beads by Lady Susan Wood. The African Bead tours visitors through the history of Africa through its chief item of trade to the Middle East, Asia and Europe, its beads.
Also displayed here is a wide array of African home accessories, textiles, sculptures, and unique handicraft. The shopping complex which houses these items is a replica of the African mud architecture such as the mosques of Timbuktu, and the architecture of the East African Coastal towns like Lamu, and Zanzibar.
After lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Shop, clients visit the Bomas of Kenya for traditional Kenyan music and dance - a truly Kenyan experience.
